Ottawa's retail landscape grew again today with the addition of Sporting Life at Lansdowne Park. The new store is just the latest to open as part of the Park's revitalization.
Located on Bank Street, in the Glebe, the 43-thousand square foot store offers high-end sporting goods and fashion.
Last year, Toronto based, Sporting Life, bought-out locally owned Tommy and Lefebvre, setting its sights on leading this sector of Ottawa's retail market.
Parking has been an issue in the Glebe neighbourhood during sporting events at TD Place. To help lure some shoppers into the stores , some retailers are offering free parking. With a $20.00 purchase at Sporting Life, you can park for free, for an hour and a half, in the on-site underground lot.
