Sarah Freemark

CTV Morning Live Live Eye Host

Sarah first discovered her passion for broadcasting right in her hometown of Renfrew as the Host & Community Producer of “G.O. - The Great Outdoors”; a weekly program produced by Cogeco Cable in Renfrew.

It's no surprise Sarah's high-energy and positive attitude was quickly noticed by execs right after she completed her studies at Seneca College, and nabbed a role as Host, Reporter & Producer of “CEO-TV”, a nationally broadcast business series on Global & City TV.

Sarah's passion for on-air and professionalism was much sought after and was soon picked-up by Ojon Corp., an international Estee Lauder brand, where she traveled the world as the Global On-Air Spokesperson & Education Trainer.

Although travelling the world has its perks, Sarah missed being close to home and decided to begin a new adventure with CTV in 2010.  This allowed her the opportunity to profile businesses and activities throughout the Ottawa Valley and Seaway.

Education

High honours Broadcast Journalism diploma – Seneca College

Extracurricular

Sarah dedicates her time to various charities in both Ottawa and the Valley, however focuses a great deal of her time on causes that have sentimental value like the Canadian Diabetes Association, Ottawa Humane Society, Canadian Cancer Society and Hospice Renfrew.

Sarah also plays in competitive volleyball and soccer leagues here in Ottawa, but will participate in pretty much any pick up sport you can think of!

Why I love my job

When people ask me what my role is on the morning show, my reply is always the same.  My job is to introduce you to the most interesting stores, worthy causes, high profile sports teams and best activities in Ottawa, the Valley and the Seaway.

And truth be told, the type of people who most often run these places are pretty awesome too.

I constantly remind myself how lucky I am to spend my mornings with the most interesting people in the city, with the unwavering viewer support of the family and friends I grew up with.
