A barn fire on Century Road in Manotick has been raging since just before 4:30 Sunday afternoon.
CTV viewers report smelling the inferno from Riverside South and seeing black smoke plumes off in the distance.
Fire officials say several roads surrounding the fire have been closed and detours are in place.
The barn was unused. Fire crews tell CTV no livestock or people were in danger.
