The Wakefield Steam train is up for sale after a June storm closed it for the season.

The train's manager said they're waiting on a damage report to see how much the tracks will cost to fix after heavy rains June 23 and 24 washed out its tracks.

About 55,000 people ride the train every year, according to Outaouais Tourism, which generates abouit $10 million for the local economy.

The train was built in Sweden in 1907 and brought across the Atlantic in 1992, according to its website.
