Owners of the Wakefield Steam Train have officially cancelled the rest of its season -- awaiting word on whether the storm-damaged track can be repaired.
The train will be side-lined until engineers complete a study of the tracks over the next several weeks.
Powerful rain late last month caused damage to seven sections along the route between Hull and Wakefield.
The setback comes just after extensive track repairs allowed the train to resume service this spring.
