Three youths arrested following stabbing at Kingston, Ont. mall

Kingston police say three young people are facing charges following a stabbing that happened at a local mall last Saturday.

Police were called to a bus stop outside the Cataraqui Town Centre at around 5:30 p.m. Dec. 28 on reports someone had been stabbed.

Three people are accused of attacking and stabbing the victim before running away. The victim's injuries were serious but not life-threatening.

One of the suspects was arrested Monday at the Cataraqui Town Centre. A second suspect turned themselves in to police later that day. The third suspect was arrested Tuesday at a home in the west end following a short chase.

The three youths are facing charges including assault, aggravated assault, possession of a dangerous weapon, and uttering death threats.

Two of the accused were released with future court dates and the third remains in custody.
