Environment Canada's forecast calls for overnight lows of -11 C tonight. -16 C on Friday night and -13 C on Saturday. The normal temperatures for this time of year are a high of -3 C and a low of -11 C.
It will be mainly cloudy today with a 70 per cent chance of flurries. The temperature will remain steady near -3 C, with the wind chill making it feel like -7 this afternoon.
Partly cloudy tonight with a 60 per cent chance of flurries. High -5 C.
Friday will be sunny. High -5 C.
The outlook for Saturday calls for sunshine and a high of -7 C.
Sunday will be cloudy with a 60 per cent chance of flurries. High -4 C.

Wet December
It has been a wet December in Ottawa, with precipitation recorded every day through the first 11 days of the month.
Ottawa received 9.2 mm of rain on Tuesday and 4.9 mm of rain on Wednesday.
Through the first 11 days of December, Ottawa has received 15.3 mm of rain and 38.8 cm of snow.
In December 2023, Ottawa only received 27.5 cm of snow.
