Ontario Provincial Police in Bancroft continued their search for a missing teenage boy at a lake near Barry's Bay Saturday.
An OPP helicopter, marine unit and underwater search and recovery unit have been scouring Lake Kamaniskeg, about two hours northwest of Ottawa, since Brandon Zilney of Combermere was reported missing Thursday evening.
Police say the teen was last seen at about 9 a.m. Thursday when he was leaving Hinterland Beach in his four-metre, aluminum Prince craft. The boat has blue sides with an orange and purple stripe.
OPP said the boat was found adrift near the Chippawa Lodge.
Inside the boat were a life-jacket and the boy's identification.
Zilney, who is about five foot eight inches tall, was last seen wearing a dark shirt, dark blue pants and glasses. He has red hair and weighs about 135 pounds.
