Canadian stand-up star Ron James is returning to Ottawa Oct. 24 for an engagement at the Meridian Theatres @ Centrepointe.

The comedian developed a stage act relatively late in his entertainment career, but the unique perspective he carved out as he entered middle age has now been drawing laughter for a quarter-century.

James joined Newstalk 580 CFRA's Ottawa at Work with Patricia Boal on Tuesday.

He spoke at length about where his comedy comes from, and what he wants audience members to feel as they file out.
