Cold temperatures in the forecast for Ottawa this Friday
It feels like minus 19 this Friday morning in Ottawa, with lower-than-average temperatures in the forecast.
“Cold temperatures (are) expected. Risk of hypothermia and frostbite if outside for long periods without adequate protection,” Environment Canada said in a statement on its website Friday.
Environment Canada calls for a high of -8 C and a 60 per cent chance of light snow today. A low -12 C and a 60 per cent of light snow are in the forecast for tonight.
Clear skies are expected this Weekend. Saturday will be mainly sunny with a high of -11 C and a low of -21 C.
The weather agency calls for sunny skies, a high of -13 C and a low of -19 C on Sunday.
The average temperatures for this time of year are a high of -4 C and a low of -13C.
