A $60,000-reward is available to anyone who can provide information leading to the arrest and conviction in the unsolved murder of a Belleville man.

Calvin Vanness, 65, was reported missing by his family on March 31, 2008. His car was later found at a Highway 38 parking lot in Kingston.

Investigators say they believe Vanness was murdered. However, his body has never been found and nobody has been charged with his disappearance.

Police say Vanness was known to carry large sums of money and marijuana on him. He has not accessed any of his bank accounts since he disappeared.

Police believe there are people out there who have information that can help investigators solve the murder.

Anyone with information about Vanness is asked to contact Belleville police at 613-966-0882 or Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122.
