Police have identified a 26-year-old Ottawa man who was killed in a two-vehicle collision in Kanata Tuesday night.
Police say Daniel Chambers, who was a passenger in one of the two cars, was trapped in the wreckage when emergency crews arrived at Terry Fox Drive between Hazeldean Road and Edgewater Street at about 9 p.m. Chambers was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim's girlfriend, who was driving the car, was extricated from the vehicle and transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The 42-year-old male driver of the second vehicle involved in the crash was also sent to hospital with serious injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
