Hundreds of people lined the streets in Carleton Place Tuesday evening at a parade honouring the local Junior A hockey team.
The parade, celebrating the past season of the Carleton Place Canadians, comes two days after a 4-3 overtime loss to the Yorkton Terriers at the RBC Cup in Vernon, B.C.
This is only the fifth season for the team and supporters say the team has energized the community.
Earlier this season, the team won the Fred Page Cup as well as the Bogart Cup.
