The City of Ottawa's city manager is the top earning municipal public servant in the capital.

Kent Kirkpatrick earned more than $341,000 in 2014.

The figure is contained in the annual Sunshine List which discloses every public servant in Ontario who earns more than $100,000.

Other city employees on the list include:

  • Charles Bordeleau, Chief of Ottawa Police        $274.000
  • John Manconi, OC Transpo General Manager  $234,000
  • Dr. Isra Levy, Chief Medical Officer of Health       $324,000
  • Jim Watson, Mayor of Ottawa                                  $168,000

There are 1,079 members of the Ottawa Police Service on this year's list.

Thirty-three Ottawa paramedics also earned more than $100,000 in 2014.
