Update: Ottawa Police lay charge in December bank robbery
OTTAWA - The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is seeking the public's assistance in solving a recent bank robbery.
On December 18, 2013, at approximately 11:20 a.m., a lone male entered a bank situated along the 200 block of Richmond Road. The suspect produced a note making a demand for money. The suspect insinuated he was armed though no weapon was seen. The suspect fled with an undisclosed quantity of cash. There were no injuries.
The suspect is described as being a Caucasian male, 35-40 years of age, approximately 5'8'(173 cm), 180 lbs (82 kg) (medium build). He had short reddish hair and facial hair. He wore a black "hoodie" with Miami Heat logo and a multi-colored toque.
