Police say the male suspect entered a store in the 2000 block of Bank Street, south of Walkley Road, at approximately 3:05 p.m. on Nov. 22 and attempted to steal merchandise.

The man allegedly threatened staff with a weapon after they attempted to approach him, police say. He then fled the area on foot.

Police say the suspect is described as a white male, around 50-years-old with a medium build. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black Helly Hansen jacket, black pants, a beige baseball cap, black shoes and a surgical mask.
