Ottawa man scores $1M prize in Lotto 6/49 Gold Ball Draw

James Fay has become Ottawa's newest millionaire.
Fay was announced as the winner of a Lotto 6/49 prize worth $1 million in the Gold Ball Draw on Oct. 12, 2024, according to the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG).
The winning ticket was purchased at Rexall on Carling Avenue.
The Gold Ball Draw guarantees either a $1 million prize or a growing jackpot.
Each Lotto 6/49 game costs $3 to play.
