OTTAWA - On October 28, 2013 Ottawa Police Central District Investigators located the male responsible for the incident on October 22nd where a 27-year-old woman was the victim of an unprovoked attacked. With the assistance of Patrol, he was arrested in the downtown area without incident.
The male has been identified as Nabil BENHSAIEN, 35 years old, of Ottawa. He has been charged with Attempt Murder and Breach of Recognizance.
He is scheduled to appear in court this afternoon.
The Central District Investigation is ongoing and further charges may be laid.
