Health Canada says the mouthwashes are being recalled due to possible microbial contamination.
According to Procter & Gamble, the microbial level, if present, poses virtually no risk to healthy people.
However, people with severely weakened immune systems -- such as those with cystic fibrosis -- may be at greater risk of adverse health effects.
Procter & Gamble is requesting that retailers immediately stop selling the affected products.
