A wanted eastern Ontario man was found with $50,000 worth of drugs and cash on him in a home in Bancroft, Ont. on Friday morning, according to the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).

Shortly after 9:00 a.m., officers with the OPP went to a home to retrieve medications for a person that was in their custody. That was when officers found a man that was wanted by police inside.

As they were arresting him, they found over $2,000 of cash and multiple kinds of suspected drugs on him, including 104 grams of fentanyl, 11 grams of cocaine, 11 grams of methamphetamine, 16 grams of heroin, and 17 pills of oxycodone.

The 33-year-old man is facing multiple charges, including three counts of failure to comply with release order, possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000, and possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking.

The suspect was remanded in custody, pending a bail hearing.
