Ottawa Police have released the identity of a man charged following a hit-and-run on Saturday morning.

18-year-old Eddie Ekiyor has been charged with failing to remain at the scene of an accident and criminal negligence causing bodily harm. He was taken into custody Saturday and released on bail Sunday.
Ekiyor was taken into custody Saturday after an early morning hit-and-run in the area of Leikin Drive and Holitzner Way.
Police say an off-duty Ottawa Police Officer was injured, taken to hospital in serious, but non-life threatening condition. The officer's identity has not been released.
