Posters splashed with information about a missing Belleville woman have been put up in Ottawa, canvassing for any information about the whereabouts of Jessica Elizabeth Lloyd, who's been missing for four days.
Helicopters scanned the area surrounding Belleville on Sunday, following an unsuccessful ground search for the 27-year-old woman. Several police forces from across the region are involved in the search.
Relatives became alarmed when Lloyd did not show up for work on Friday. When friends went to her apartment to check for her, Lloyd's purse and glasses were still there. These friends believe she was taken against her will.
Lloyd last communicated with a family friend when she sent a text message at 10:36 p.m. on Thursday.
Lloyd is described as five feet five inches tall and about 125 pounds. She has green eyes, dark brown shoulder-length hair and a tattoo of an intricate ‘L' that spans her lower back. She may have been wearing brown suede boots, a sweater and vest at the time of her disappearance.
