Family, friends and the Belleville police are pleading for public help after Jessica Elizabeth Lloyd went missing on Thursday. There's been no sign of her since, and police are conducting a search in the Highway 37 and Harmony Road area for her whereabouts.
Lloyd, 27, last contacted a friend on Thursday at 10:36 p.m. by text message, but did not show up at work the next day. All attempts to contact her were unsuccessful, and her family said this type of behaviour for her is out of character.
Her friends told CTV Ottawa that her purse and glasses were still in the apartment when they went to check on her, and they they believe Lloyd was taken against her will.
She is described as 5'5" tall and 125 pounds, with green eyes and dark brown, shoulder-length hair. Her lower back has a large and intricate "L" on it.
Lloyd may be wearing brown suede boots with white stitching, and possibly a sweater and vest.
