A Russell County home invasion earlier this week prompted Ontario Provincial Police to ask for the public's help Friday in finding three men wanted in connection with the incident.

Police responded to a call July 4 for an incident the previous night, when three non-white males entered a residence in Embrun, a small community about 40 kilometres southeast of Ottawa.

One person inside the house was pushed onto the couch and told to say there, police said, as the males riffled through the apartment. They took a 46 inch flat-screen television, a 15 inch flast-screen television, cash, the victim's health card, a credit card and his cell phone.

The men then left in a black Toyota Camry. The person in the apartment was not injured, and did not see any weapons, police said.

Police said the three suspects are described as black, English-speaking, and wearing dark clothing with ball caps.

Anyone with information should call Russell County OPP at 613-443-4499.
