Ottawa Police are thanking the public for their help finding the missing girl.
"It is a big relief." said Inspector Zackrias. "You can tell the officers felt it; the compassion, the need to locate this child. Even before we completed the full briefing, we were out on the road, the officers showed up here, flooded this area...but I can tell you when we got an update the child was located it was a huge relief for the officers; they were very happy to hear that."
Police said an investigation into the circumstrances surrounding how the young girl went missing is underway.
