One man is missing and presumed dead after an inflatable dinghy capsized on the Ottawa River near Britannia Beach.
Ottawa Police say two men were boating on the river around 5 o'clock Sunday afternoon when they were swept into the Deschenes Rapids and capsized.
Gatineau Police were able to rescue one man from the water. Crews spent the evening searching for the second man who is now presumed to have drowned.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
