A 23 year-old Ottawa man was arrested today in relation to a stabbing that occurred in the early hours of June 12th, 2013 in the Montreal Road / Vanier Parkway area. This altercation left a 25 year-old man with back injuries; the accused and the victim were acquaintances.
After seeking an arrest warrant, the Ottawa Police Service received information which lead to the arrest of Tyler Blake in the area of Baseline Road / Merivale Road around noon today.
Tyler Blake will appear in court tomorrow morning charged with Aggravated Assault, Assault with a Weapon, Uttering Threats to Cause Bodily Harm, Weapons Dangerous, Breach of Probation, Intimidation
The investigation is on-going.
