We already know we have some great places here in Eastern Ontario and West Quebec. Now, a country-wide competition is proving that. It's called the "Great Places in Canada" contest and so far, three spots in our viewing area are vying for top honor in the Public Space category -- those three nominated are the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum in Ottawa, McCreary's Beach Resort in Perth and Brockville's Blockhouse Island.
Just one local spot has made it into the finals for great neighborhoods; that's Wakefield Village.
Voting closes September 25th. You can help decide the winners by casting your vote at www.greatplacesincanada.ca.
