A kitchen fire closed a popular downtown shawarma eatery over the weekend.
The fire broke out in the kitchen at the 3 Brothers Shawarma and Poutine on Rideau Street around 4 o'clock Sunday, July 16, 2017.
Crews had to open up the roof to access the fire and make sure it hadn't spread.
