Kingston, Ont. police say stabbing suspect arrested without incident
Kingston police say a suspect in a stabbing at a local shelter has been arrested.
Officers were called to the shelter on Cowdy Street at around 8:50 a.m. Monday on reports of an assault. The victim's injuries are not considered life-threatening.
Police said Ryan Tonello, 42, of Orillia, Ont. was wanted on charges of assault with a weapon and possession of a dangerous weapon. He was found and arrested without incident Monday afternoon.
"The Kingston Police would like to thank the public for their assistance in this matter," police said.
