An Ottawa family is searching for answers tonight in the hit-and-run death of Michael Morlang.
Morlang was killed early Sunday morning as he walked along Frank Kenny Road in the city's east-end. The driver fled the scene.
At his funeral today, family and friends made a plea for the driver to turn themselves in.
“Come forward,” says Morlang's friend, Dan Plunkett, “It is the right thing to do and I believe it will bring inner peace to him and closure to the family.”
Ottawa Police say it is investigating a few tips from the public and ask anyone else with information to report it.
