OC Transpo has investigated a dramatic arrest at Baseline Station Tuesday night and has decided not to discipline the guards involved.
CTV News viewer Charles Nalepa captured a video of the arrest on his cellphone believing the takedown looked overly aggressive.
"He didn't deserve an elbow smash in the head against the glass. They already had him bound in cuffs," said Napela. "It's just not right."
OC Transpo officials told CTV News the suspect was smoking on bus property and had been asked several times to leave.
The young man on tape has been charged for smoking on the property, trespassing and having an altered bus pass. OC Transpo officials say the amount of force used was appropriate.
OC Transpo says it has not received a complaint against the security guards.
