A buddha statue at a local temple has been vandalised.
On Thursday night, a resident monk at the Hilda Jayawardenaramaya noticed the temple's buddha statue was missing its head. The monk found pieces of the statue's head scattered on the lawn.
Ottawa Police were notified and are investigating what happened.
