Some of the best hairstylists in Canada converged on the Capital Monday night to showcase their creativity with the hope of representing the country at the North American and International versions of the Wella Trend Vision Awards.
Among those from Ottawa taking part: Nelson Renouf of Scissors Hair Studio, Sarah Cross of Salon Bliss and Suzanne Pack from Texture Hair Salon.
The top 7 finalists in the colour and young talent categories, along with the top six from the student semi-finalists will continue to the North American Trend Vision awards happening on July 20.
Gold winners of that competition will go on to compete against stylists from more than 100 countries in the International Trend Vision Awards in Monaco, France in November.
