A bail hearing has been set for an Ottawa couple charged with sexual assault .
Anthony Comunale, 31, and his girlfriend Caroline Budd, 20, have both been charged with two counts each of sexual assault and forcible confinement.
Court documents allege two 16-year-old girls were held against their will and sexually assaulted with a wooden ruler and sex toy over the May long weekend.
Police allege the assaults took place at Budd’s family home on Downsview Crescent in Ottawa’s west end.
Budd and Comunale were arrested at the home May 28, 2014.
Two days have been set aside for the bail hearing starting June 12, 2014. The two are being tried together.
