A passionate journalist with more than a decade of experience in local news, she has reported on major national events for CTV Ottawa, including the convoy occupation, derecho storm clean-up, Emergencies Act Inquiry, Joe Biden’s presidential visit to the Nation’s Capital, devastating Quebec floods, and one of the largest federal government workers strike in Canada’s history.
Natalie's in-depth look behind-the-scenes of the Cambridge Memorial Hospital ICU during the pandemic was nominated for an RTDNA award at CTV Kitchener. She provided live hits throughout an award-winning newscast on a Kitchener house explosion in 2018 and was one of the only CTV reporters on the ground during the Attawapiskat suicide crisis on the James Bay Coast in 2016 for CTV Northern Ontario.
Her experience includes managing the assignment desk at Global News Toronto during the Rob Ford scandal at city hall. She also produced special coverage for Global News during the federal election and Pan Am games.
Natalie is passionate about international affairs and in 2013, she spent a summer in Kigali, Rwanda, interning at the first private television news station in the country. Her work included reporting on the ground during a devastating grenade attack and gaining exclusive interviews with victims of the attack in the hospital.
Natalie graduated with High Honours from Carleton University with a Bachelor of Journalism, Double Major in Law. Her passions include fitness and travel. She has completed five half-marathons in Toronto and enjoys discovering new hiking destinations around the world.
