She began her broadcast career in Prince Albert, SK as a community reporter/producer for CTV Saskatoon.
Prior to joining CTV Ottawa in 2021 as a multi-skilled journalist, Jackie worked as a morning live reporter at CTV Regina, worked at Citynews Calgary as an anchor and video journalist.
Jackie is passionate about delivering local, breaking news and being part of events that matter most to the community.
She was part of the CTV Ottawa team that won Best TV Newscast Large Market for coverage of the powerful derecho storm that blew across eastern Ontario in 2022 as well as the prestigious regional Edward R Murrow awarded May 2023.
In her time as a reporter, she’s covered the COVID-19 pandemic in Alberta and Ontario, the Black Lives Matter rallies in Calgary, and the Humboldt Broncos bus crash in Saskatchewan.
Jackie previously worked as the in-game host for the Toronto Argonauts Football Club. You can occasionally catch Jackie courtside at an Ottawa BlackJacks games as the CEBL sideline reporter.
Born in Manila, Philippines and raised in Mississauga, Ont., Jackie graduated from the University of Guelph-Humber’s media program with a Bachelor of Applied Arts (Honours) degree in Media Communications and a diploma in Journalism.
Jackie speaks English and understands Tagalog.
