Dalia has been in the industry for almost 10 years . She has worn several hats including video journalist, host, anchor, weather presenter, producer and reporter. Dalia has worked in northern B.C. , Alberta , home to Toronto and now Ottawa .
Dalia was chosen by Journalists for Human Rights and travelled to Turkey where she taught Syrian journalists in 2023. She also reported from Gaziantep, Turkey in 2023 during the earthquake. A B.A in Linguistics and Language studies, from Glendon College and a Broadcast Journalism diploma from Seneca College.
Dalia is a Canadian-Egyptian and speaks 4 languages ( English, Arabic , French and proficient in Spanish). She is the founder of an NGO connecting Muslim mentors with Muslim Mentees. In her spare time, Dalia MCs events and festivals. She enjoys going to the gym, yoga, dancing, and spending time with family and friends.
