Annie Bergeron-Oliver


Annie Bergeron-Oliver joined CTV Ottawa as a general assignment reporter in July 2014.

Annie was born and raised in Ottawa and is thrilled to be back in her hometown.

She has a Master’s of Science in Journalism from the Columbia Journalism School and an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and Political Science from the University of Toronto.

While in New York City, Annie completed internships at both CBC National’s foreign bureau and at Sports Illustrated. She has also worked at City News in Toronto, MTV Canada and blogged for the Huffington Post from the Middle East. Prior to joining CTV News Annie worked on Parliament Hill covering federal politics for

When she is not working, Annie can be found skating on any ice rink in the city, running along the canal, watching cat videos on YouTube or reading up on the latest news in federal politics.

Annie speaks French and English, is a skating coach, official and former national level figure skater and has co-coached two Special Olympic World Champions.
