Drivers are being warned to expect traffic disruptions on the Airport Parkway this week due to work on the much maligned and over budget Airport Parkway pedestrian and cycling bridge.
The northbound on-ramp from Hunt Club Road onto the Airport Parkway will be closed between 6 p.m. Monday and 4 a.m. Tuesday. Drivers can follow the detour that goes along Hunt Club Road, Riverside Drive and Hogs Back Road.
Additionally, the Airport Parkway will be closed from Brookfield Road to Hunt Club Road from 7 p.m. Tuesday night until 4 a.m. Wednesday. This detour will take drivers along Brookfield Road, Riverside Drive and Hunt Club Road.
During the partial closures, workers will be installing a portion of the steel bridge deck.
