Moose on the loose in Ottawa

Another nervous road crossing in Ottawa but this time motorists had to stop for a moose on the loose.

Ottawa Police were called to Bank Street and Leitrim Road just after 7 a.m. on Thursday, April 10, 2014.

Motorists waited patiently as not one but two moose crossed the road and make their way back into the forest.

Ottawa Police say everybody made it across safe and sound.

A CTV Ottawa viewer provided the photo.

CTV Producer John Ruttle posted the moose photo on twitter with the hash tag #bullwinkle.

The twitter world is now abuzz with the Ottawa Moose.
