A post-mortem was underway Saturday on the body of a young Carleton Place man who was killed in a single-vehicle rollover on Highway 7 on Friday.

Mitchell Cram, 23, was travelling westbound when his car left the highway and entered a ditch west of Ashton Station Road. He was ejected from his vehicle and died from his injuries at the scene.

OPP report the road conditions were clear with icy patches at the time of the rollover. Police do not yet know whether the slippery roads contributed to the collision.

The investigation into the cause of the crash continues.
