A 21 year old woman was critically hurt last night when the car she was in slammed into an OC Transpo bus.
The crash happened on Meadowlands Drive East near Viewmount, just before 11pm.
Three people in the car were hurt. The most seriously hurt was the front-seat passenger, who had life threatening head injuries, paramedics say. She was trapped in the car for 20 minutes before firefighters managed to free her. The driver and back seat passenger were treated for fractures, neck and back pain.
There were no injuries reported on the bus.
Meadowlands Drive was closed until nearly 6 this morning.
