A semi-conscious woman was found by a passerby Saturday morning in a wooded area off Lepage Avenue near Merivale Road. Ottawa Police say the woman was possibly assaulted.
She was found around 8:20 a.m. with multiple injuries and transported to the Civic Hospital. Her injuries are not considered life threatening.
Police said the identity of the woman is not determined at this time. She is described as white and 30 years of age.
Police are continuing their investigation.
