A woman was found dead in a west Ottawa apartment after police were called to a high rise on McEwen Avenue near Richmond Road Sunday afternoon.
At approximately 2 p.m., police arrived at the residence near Lincoln Fields where they found the body of a woman. A man was taken into custody for questioning.
The identity of the victim has not been released, nor has her relationship to the man being questioned.
Witnesses say two children were seen in an ambulance soon after the investigation began. Their relationship to the woman has not been released.
