A 50-year-old woman who was out for a horseback ride in Ottawa was found dead early Monday afternoon.
Emergency workers were called to a wooded area off Stonecrest Road in the Kinburn area just before 1 p.m.
Paramedics say it's unclear if the woman suffered fatal injuries when she fell off the horse, or if she suffered a medical problem.
Although paramedics tried to revive the woman, she was declared dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.
