An Ottawa woman has been charged in connection with multiple robberies at a Bank Street pharmacy.

Tracey Duncan, 41, faces six counts of robbery, two counts of wearing a disguise, two counts of conspiracy to commit an indictable offence, and one count of possession of weapon dangerous to the public.

Police say Duncan is likely to face additional charges.

She is accused of robbing a pharmacy in the 2400 block of Bank St. three times between Jan. 7 and Mar. 18.

The first robbery took place at about 12:45 a.m. on Jan. 7 when a female suspect entered the pharmacy with a man. The man acted as a "lookout" while the woman handed a note demanding prescription drugs to a clerk. She fled with an undisclosed quantity of prescription drugs.

Similar robberies took place at the same pharmacy on Feb. 5, when a different man acted as a "lookout," and Mar. 18.

The male accomplices have yet to be identified.
