BELLEVILLE, Ont. - A 22-year-old woman has been charged in connection with a serious collision.

In June a female driver and male passenger were injured when their vehicle went off-road, rolled and burst into flames north of Belleville.

Both people were eventually transferred to a Toronto hospital for treatment.

The accused, from Marmora, northeast of Trenton, was released from custody and will appear in a Belleville court on Sept. 26.

Charges against Alisha Maille include driving with more than the legal amount of alcohol in her blood causing bodily harm.
