A man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant is facing multiple charges after four vehicles were damaged in south Ottawa on Wednesday.

Police said they got a report of a possible impaired driver in the 4500 block of Bank Street in south Ottawa around noon.

A black pickup truck hit the responding officer’s vehicle, then a gas pump, a bystander’s vehicle and two more police vehicles.

The suspect then left, heading northbound on Bank Street.

Thursday, Ottawa police said they've charged 41-year-old Gordon Craig of Ottawa with dangerous driving and three counts of assault with a weapon, amongst other charges.

There were no serious injuries because of this incident.

Ottawa police are asking anyone with information connected to this incident, including the location of a black Sierra pickup truck that struck the vehicles, to contact them at 613-236-1222 extension 3566.
