The Ontario Provincial Police, Surete Quebec, and Mirabel Police can now call off their search for 32-year-old Pascal Normand.

The Lachute, Que. man was wanted on an outstanding warrant for robbery. Six others have already been arrested and face similar charges.

The arrests are a result of the joint police effort into violent robberies in Mirabel, Que., Brownsburg-Chatham, Que., and Hawkesbury, Ont. from November 2009 to January 2010.

Vancouver Police arrested Normand outside one of the city's rooming house on Friday.

It was reported that one of the other suspects arrested, France Maurice, was a manager at the Hawkesbury CIBC bank targeted on Dec. 23, 2009.

The investigation is ongoing and further charges are pending.
